Basketball Court Construction
Although the way the work is done varies, the basketball court is made as described below.
Ground leveling is done.
After soil improvement and compaction, excavation works required for laying the wooden/steel molds of the court are carried out. Reinforcement/reinforcing bars are laid in the area made for the concrete beams and their connections are completed.
C20 -C25 concrete is poured into the molds created for the beams. Then, 20 cm of No. 3 gravel is laid in the pool and compacted with a roller and 0.007% slope is given during the process. On this layer, 10 cm of mechanical stabilizer is laid and compacted with a roller. Q131 x Q131 steel mesh is laid as a single layer on the compacted stabilizer.
10 cm c20-c25 concrete is poured on the ground which is made ready for pouring concrete and helicopter troweling is done. Thus, the floor is made ready for iron works.
After the ground is ready for iron works, the flanges of the basketball court are placed on the ground at equal intervals of 3.00m. Main uprights are erected on the placed flanges and intermediate records are thrown and welds are completed. After the records are laid, the mesh wire is not pulled because of the asphalt pavement to be laid in the next stages.
If the mesh wire is pulled, compaction cannot be made at the end points of the field, so the mesh wire is pulled after the asphalt coating.
Connections of 400w or 140w LED projectors are made according to the conditions specified in the project of the basketball court.
5cm zero asphalt is laid with the help of a finisher. Optionally, spreading can also be done manually. While asphalt is laid, it is leveled. The advantage of gauging is that it prevents ponding that may occur in the field.
The tension wires of the ready-made iron construction are pulled. Then, 50x50x3.50mm PVC coated knitting wires are tensioned and connected.
The basketball hoop is assembled. The ladle is placed in the 114.00 mm hole opened with a core drill, leaving no space, and the backboard is connected. Optionally, a mobile basketball hoop with wheels can be made.
There is a waiting period of 10-15 days after the asphalt is laid. It is recommended to water the ground every day for 10-15 days to degas the field. If this is done before the waiting period, cracks will occur in the floor covering.
After removing the asphalt gas, acrylic coating is applied.
